Witness the Great Migration

Dubbed “The Greatest Show on Earth”, the southern Serengeti is the starting point for the migration of over a million wildebeest, 200 000 zebras, and 200 000 other antelope. With their young in tow, the herd sets off in search of better grazing over the border in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. In the course of their epic 800 km roundtrip, they will have to brave numerous challenges; including predators lying in ambush and the swiftly flowing rivers. Although the timing varies depending on rainfall, May through July are regarded as the peak period during which to see the herd move through the Serengeti. Let us know if you would like to witness this wildlife event should your stay fall within these months.
